Courses and Seminars

We teach classes for bachelor’s to master’s to PhD and executive degrees. We support learning on-the-job through customized workshops and in-house seminars.

Capstone Project: Operations and Innovation Management

The Capstone project ʺOperations and Innovation Managementʺ offers insights into business models for intelligent energy solutions. In this seminar, students will gain practical insights into current trends and challenges of the practice partner, a world leader in heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions. The practice partner can commission the students with market research, competition analyses, the development of business models or prototypes within the scope of their project assignment. Students work in small groups on a real, open‑ended problem from organizational practice using the methods and theoretical content of the Bachelorʹs program.

Managing Global Innovation

Today's firms often engage in economic activities internationally, thereby creating knowledge and competence in geographically dispersed locations. Managing global innovation is concerned with adaptation to local developments, decentralized creation of knowledge in subsidiaries, its transfer within the multinational corporation, and efficiency improvements through integration of subsidiaries, realization of synergies, and reduction of redundancies. This course delves into the often complex management of global innovation.
