We support private and public actors in mastering the opportunities and challenges of the sustainability transition. Our support of practice rests on two pillars: On the one hand, we directly collaborate with companies and non-profit organizations in bilateral projects. On the other hand, we participate in consortia working on relevant issues financed by national or international funding agencies.

We help organizations navigate sustainability challenges with tailored research, tools, and actionable insights.

Bilateral collaboration with companies and other organizations

We actively cooperate with partners from various industries on resolving challenges they have. To this end, we use a variety of collaboration formats to offer them such services as:

Conducting (quantitative or qualitative) research on technologies and markets
Producing evidence-based recommendations
Developing/improving methods and tools that support innovation endeavors
Teaching internal or external stakeholders in the application of methods and tools (e.g., in workshops)
Disseminating findings through guidelines and handbooks

Participation in national and international consortia

We are currently involved in consortia funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF/SNF), the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse, and the European Commission. We had worked with all of these institutions before.
