Intro

The World Systemic Forum (WSF) 2025, held on January 17–18 in Liechtenstein and Switzerland, brought together thought leaders, innovators, and change-makers under the theme "Let us be r’evolutionary." In collaboration with the System Change Foundation, the HSG Sustainability Innovation Lab (SIL-HSG) and the Responsibility & Sustainability Delegate Team established the first cohort of seven HSG fellows to co-shape the event’s systemic leadership journey.

The World Systemic Forum (WSF) 2025 challenged participants to rethink existing structures and embrace new, fairer pathways for systemic transformation. The objective? Not destruction, but renewal—anchored in courage, collaboration, and human values.

Seven HSG fellows, representing Bachelor, Master’s, and PhD programs, played a pivotal role in curating Day 1’s learning journey at the Stein Egerta adult education center in Liechtenstein. They supported Systemic Leadership Workshops on key themes such as Natural Capital, Democracy, Systemic Finance, and Food Systems. Additionally, they co-designed the R’evolution Garden, an immersive experience space fostering meaningful exchanges among 90 experts from diverse sectors. The space also included a contemplative practice during the lunch break, facilitated by partners from the Gardeners Collective.

Guided by the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) framework, the HSG delegation emphasized essential inner skills such as self-awareness, perspective-taking, collaboration, and trust—crucial qualities for genuine system change.

On Day 2, the forum moved to the Hagerbach Stollen tunnel system in Flums (Switzerland), welcoming over 200 participants. The day opened with a keynote speech by Liechtenstein’s Prime Minister Daniel Risch and featured a roundtable discussion on "Inner Development as a Compass for System Change," moderated by Dr. Monica Barroso. The session brought together diverse voices to explore the critical role of visionary, human-centered leadership in driving systemic transformation.

The HSG Sustainability Innovation Lab and System Change Foundation celebrate this meaningful collaboration and look forward to further strengthening their partnership. Let’s be revolutionary—together.
